Functional and technical expertise was provided for the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials 8.9 General Ledger. The functional focus was on the Allocations component of the module. The technical expertise included the design and creation of allocation steps, nVision and Crystal Reports. The assignment also included testing, implementation, and support services.

Technical expertise was provided to support their PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 General Ledger and Accounts Payable and PeopleSoft 8.8 EPM Budgets applications during a resource transition. This assignment includes support, maintenance, and enhancement. It also includes mentoring of existing staff being trained on the support of the PeopleSoft systems and transitioning of support to employee(s) hired to fill permanent support role.

Provide technical and functional production support and enhancements through an ASP environment for both a Financials 8 SP2 and HRMS 8.3 SP1 environment. Support included the maintenance of the test and production environments, analysis and resolution of production issues, and the development of customizations to enhance the customer's use of the software. The ASP support is provided on a part-time basis in conjunction with other full-time client commitments.

Lead the discovery for the implementation of the PeopleSoft Contracts, Projects, Billing, and Receivables for two of the company's business units. The process included the gathering of requirements and the creation of a demonstration environment to illustrate how the system could accomplish their needs. The demonstration was successfully performed and a proposal was presented outlining the recommended implementation strategy.

Provided technical support for the implementation of the Asset Management module including the loading of Assets for five business units along with the calculation and reconciliation of depreciation for the initial load and subsequent years worth of additions and adjustments that were performed directly in the system.

Assisted with the re-deployment of PeopleSoft Time and Labor within an HRMS 8.3 SP1 environment. This included the upgrade of the HRMS environment from 8.3 to 8.3SP1 and application of all outstanding bundles. It also involved the design and development of Time and Labor rules to support overtime, benefits payments, holidays, salaried time (40 hrs), and allocation of Vacation/Sick/Bereavement based on prior weeks time). In addition to the application upgrade, a PeopleTools upgrade was performed on the HRMS and Financials environments from 8.17.02 to 8.19.11.

Provided technical expertise for the upgrade of Financials 7.53 to 8.4 on the OS/390 platform utilizing AIX for the Web and Application Servers. Assistance was focused primarily on the management and execution of multiple upgrade cycles. Also contributed to the technical infrastructure configuration of the Application Servers, Web Servers, Process Schedulers, and PeopleBooks.

Performed a Business Process review, comparing original processes from pre-merger companies to determine the new merged company process as the Financial systems were merged together into PeopleSoft Financials. Also assisted with design and testing of new interfaces into PeopleSoft Financials 7.53.

The upgrade also involved upgrading their HR databases to the 8.15 release of PeopleTools from 8.13. Throughout the upgrade project, assistance was provided to the technical staff for production HRMS and Financial issues.
